  • 5 hot dogs / Frankfurter sausages
  • 5 soft, long bread rolls
  • 5 rashers of bacon
  • 2 white onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsps of vegetable oil
  • 4 tbsps of mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsps of Dijon mustard
  • 100g 1912 Stilton®, crumbled
  • Sprig of parsley, chopped


Easy, fun and delicious: hot dogs are a simple pleasure. For an extra special taste experience, try these gourmet loaded hot dogs, crammed with flavours and textures. The 1912 Stilton® delivers a mouthwatering savoury hit, which elevates these hot dogs to superstar status.


  1. Grill or fry the bacon until all the fat has been cooked out and the bacon is a deep, golden brown.
  2. Once cooked, place the bacon on kitchen paper and allow to cool. Pop it into a blender and blitz to make chopped bacon bits.
  3. Add the vegetable oil to a frying pan and cook the onions slowly until soft.
  4. Mix the mayonnaise and mustard together and set aside.
  5. Cook the hot dogs according to the packet instructions.
  6. Cut the bread rolls, add the hot dogs and load them up! Add bacon bits, mustard mayo, fried onions, crumbled stilton and chopped parsley and enjoy! Serve with french fries or sweet potato fries.
